Microfilm readers from the Family History Center

On October 13, 2020, at the headquarters of the Family History Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warsaw, the Presidents of the Management Board of the Association of Polish Professional Genealogists Grzegorz Biłos and Michał Jan Marciniak initialed an agreement regarding modern microfilm readers. The church was represented by his superior in Poland, David Lawrence Chandler. They were accompanied by Magdalena Nowak-Dresler – director of CHR in Warsaw and Mariusz Michalak – chairman of the Association’s Audit Committee.

This equipment will be successively transferred by the Association to selected Diocesan Archives. We hope that in this way we will significantly improve the working conditions of all users of these archives, and that the search for your own roots will be more comfortable and effective.
